How to Find Us

The Cotswold Water Park covers an area of 40 square miles within Gloucestershire and Wiltshire countryside, north of Swindon and south of Cirencester.  Cotswold Forest School activities are based in the heart of the Cotswold Water Park, know as the western section.  We are approx. 1.5 miles from the A419/Spine road Junction (B4696).  Our entrance is right next to the Clayhill Picnic Area, marked 'Cotswold Forest School'.  From the gate please drive slowly along the track to our woodland car-park.  If you are unsure, please visit the Gateway Visitor information centre and the staff will be a happy to assist you.

Please note: In line with our Child Protection Policy all visitors must be booked in prior to their visit. Any enquiries in regards of workshops or school sessions are welcomed and can be either made by contacting us at enquiries@cotswoldforestschool.co.uk  or on 077 387 08880.

Western Water Park

The Western section of the Water Park lies to the west of the A419, centred around the B4696 Spine Road. It encompasses the villages of South Cerney, Cerney Wick, Somerford Keynes, Poole Keynes, and Ashton Keynes.

  • From M4 take Junction 15 – A419 direction Swindon, Cirencester.
  • From M5 take junction 11a – A417 Cirencester.

Main exit for Western Cotswold Water Park is B4696 Spine Road junction - 4 miles south of Cirencester and 6 miles North of Swindon.
